The nail industry now have a new firm favourite product among celebrities around the world with the inspiring and striking nail wraps that are being produced and manufactured in many fantastic designs to suit everyone. They can be supplied as full nails or as pro-cut which means they are like nail tips and are applied to the ends of nails. But how do you apply them yourself?
Are they an easy form of nail art or should you go to a salon or pay a professional nail technician to come to your home?
Well the answers to those questions are yes they are easy and yes you can do them yourself.
Obviously if cost is no problem then go along to a salon and have a technician apply them as a treat to yourself but I can tell you from my experience with nail wraps. They are so simple to do that I prefer to be in the comfort of my own home and apply them in my own time.
This simple guide will tell you how the nail wraps are applied from start to finish.
1. Clean your nails as usual and buff them on the tops so you then create a base for the wraps to adhere to.
2. Measure y

our individual nails using the template supplied with your pack of wraps and trim them to size if necessary.
3. Place the chosen sticker upon the nail and apply the heat. This warms the adhesive which will help them to stick better.
4. Use a cotton bud to smooth any bumps in the sticker after the heat has been applied.
5. Bend the excess sticker over the end of the finger nail and using a nail file at a forty five degree angle, file off the extra and remove.
6. File as normal and use a soft buffer tool to leave a nice smooth edge to the nail.
Once all fingers are finished, you will have beautiful nails to show off!
The wraps can last up to two weeks and you then need to remove them.
1. Heat the wrap with the hair dryer again. This helps to remove the stickers in one go.
2. Using some small tweezers, peel the sticker off the nail gently.

3. If any glue does remain on the nail, just use some nail varnish remover to clean it off.
That's how simple they are. No need for expensive equipment or tools.
