MLM Training and Giving Them Value

Hello faithful readers!

I received a lead late last night, so naturally I called him up to do my usual deal on the phone. There was something odd with this particular fellow though.

Even though he responded to an ad that told him the up front cost of a particular program, he decided that he didn't want to spend this amount of money on what could be BS.

This guy had such a negative attitude, had spent thousands of dollars and never has been able to succeed from home. I could have pitched him, given him the whole song and dance, but I didn't. I coached him.

You see, this guy didn't need another "opportunity" right now. This guy needed training. Therefore, instead of pitching him and having him spend $400 on a lead generation system, I got him into MLSP and told him that if he was willing to put in the time and effort, I was willing to work with him.

So now what?

Yes, I would have liked to make that $300 from the sale, but this guy would not have succeeded with that program because of his inner demons and thinking everything out there is a scam.

I will work with this guy, but his attitude needs to change. My job as a coach is to help him to start building his confidence, then he can move forward with bigger and better things. He needs a step by step training system, so I gave him one.

He didn't Believe

The most important aspect of starting and growing your business is to actually believe, deep down, that you can succeed. Not only that you can succeed, but you need to have the utmost confidence that the company and product you represent is the right one for you! You need to have the confidence in yourself that it can and will happen for you, and you need to know that no one is going to hand it to you, or do it for you.
